I'm playing the Director's cut, because that's what I have. This game is a modern game, but old enough where many gamers never experienced it. The DNA of this game has permeated thru many modern games. Human revolution was praised by critics, but also just well received among the gaming community.

In this I'll be interested to see how well the gameplay and mechanical systems hold up, but we'll be mostly focused on what sort of ideas the game presents. What is pushed as 'cool' or virtuous, what is pushed as 'lame' or immoral? Games constantly signal to gamers all sorts of ideas, and sometimes those ideas are healthy, sometimes they're harmful.

We'll see how this game holds up.
