Marui released number of fairly good RC cars during 80s, was a good competitor of tamiya. They both had scale plastic model products before RC car production, which led them to build very realistic RCs.
Marui released 'Super Wheelie' series in 83, Toyota Land Cruiser was a remake of pre-released Super Wheelie land cruiser in 85.
It's body is so realistic and beautiful still after 35 years have passed. Also simple and solid chassis was strong enough to endure my bashing with poor driving skill^^;
Restored for fun wheelie run and it's still fulfilling it's job, while some parts were designed and printed for better look^^
