IDEX (Independent Dual Extruder) 3D printers are having more advantages than the conventional Single Extruder or Dependent Dual Extruder 3D Printers.

One of the major advantage is using 'Mirror Mode'. When using Mirror mode, the Left side part will be perfectly Mirrored to make the Right side part. Best example is Left side shoe sole mirrored to Right side shoe sole.

But Mirror is having limited applications.

You can find the major application in printing Symmetrical objects. You can easily cut down the time to half.
