How To Do a 3D Printing Timelapse With a Smartphone (Or DSLR) 2020

I wanted to be able to create those mesmerising layerlapse videos of 3D prints growing layer by layer so had to find a way to do it and wanted to share my solution.

Layer Change G-Code for script 1:
Search for: ;MESH:NONMESH
Replace with:
;MESH:NONMESH
G91 ;relative positioning
G1 E-6.5 F3000 ;Retract a bit
G90 ;Absolute positioning
G0 X216 Y150 F9000 ;Move X near trigger switch and centre Y axis
G1 X221 F9000 ;Press switch
G4 P10 ;delay for 10ms
G1 X216 F9000 ;release switch
G4 P800 ;delay for 800ms for the picture to be taken

Layer Change G-Code for script 2:
Search for: G0 F300
Replace with: G0 F9000
