If there is one thing to be learned from our adventures in Northwest Colombia, Is that we should have had our radios tuned up, so that they are ready when we need them.

In this video, I gut the POS battery eliminator and replace it with an LM2596. Then we crack open a swollen battery pack, 3D print a new case for 2 18650 batteries, and transfer the BMS to prevent a low cell condition. Then we thoroughly test USB Type C rechargeable Lithium batteries in AAA, AA & 9-volt configurations.
