A Transistor AM Radio build from start to finish using analogue electronics - not a kit, something that I designed on the fly!! It's solar powered with a lithium Ion battery. It has an air spaced capacitor and ferrite rod antenna that work well with the ZN414, MK484, TA7642 ICs. The Audio output amplifier is an LM386. I also made an attempt with a BC109 transistor as a front end, but it just isnt sensitive enough. Learn with me on my journey - making this incredibly interesting looking 3D Printed radio!!
