You can build your own laser if you are mechanically inclined and have have some basic assembly skills. In this video series of videos I will show you what I did to create my own 90W CO2 laser that I use everyday for my large projects.

In part 2, I’ll discuss mechanical systems in the DIY laser and specifically how the axes move the laser head around the workspace. Then I will discuss the optical mounting mechanics and they interact with the rest of the mechanical system to create a functioning laser capable of cutting and engraving materials. All of the designs for this laser will be made available at a later date, free from my website.
