3D printing timelapse of a LEGO Darth Vader Helmet (LEGO part 30368), at 500% of the original size.

Darth Vader is the original and best of the Star Wars antagonists, and I decided to print the iconic Darth Vader helmet to commemorate the LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga video game. Unfortunately my Darth Vader minifigure has gone AWOL, so I couldn't show it off!

There are two LEGO Darth Vader helmets: the one featured here is the older version with a flat base and far longer shape, to accommodate a minifigure's head. It was obviously designed before LEGO had to be "ultra-realistic".

Two copies of this helmet were printed: one in black PLA filament with a 0.4mm nozzle, and the other in eSun's twinkling black PLA filament with a 0.6mm nozzle.
