Thingivere is the worlds best known site for free 3D printable files. Many people start their 3D printing addiction by downloading fun files from Thingiverse for their first 3D prints.

However Thingi has been rotting online ever sense MakerBot sold out. Over the years the user experience and quality of Thigi have declined.

On 10/14/2021, the site Have I been Pwned released the information about a massive data breach at Thingiverse. over 36 GB of usernames, poorly encrypted passwords, paypal data, and other ID information have been shared on the dark web.

In this video I cover the issues with Thingiverse, how to migrate your files to PrusaPrinters, and how to delete your Thingiverse account.
