The actuation lever is a pretty cool mechanism all on it’s own
This is the second video explaining how the mechanical counter works. This one covers the actuation lever and how it specifically advances the first digit of the counter by one number. The satisfying snap sound comes from the 3d printed spring (aka detent) that keeps the sprocket in its exact position.
