Swooping Aussie Magpie Versus 3D Printed Defences

There’s nothing more Aussie than a swooping magpie in spring! They’re a common bird around Australia and the bane of cyclists and walkers for a few weeks of the year. I thought I’d try and 3D print some defence mechanisms and see if they actually work to reduce or stop the birds swooping.
Printed on Creality CR-10 and Ener 3 Pro 3D printers using 3D Fillies PLA+ at 0.36 layer height (CR-10) for the big parts and 0.2 layer height (Ender 3) for the smaller parts. Parts design and modification was done in DesignSpark Mechanical. 360 video footage shot on Insta360 One R
