This is a little experiment because I got tired of trying to sand my PLA prints to remove the layer lines. I am using Monoprice Rapid UV Black Resin to coat a Mark 1 Iron Man mask prior to doing the primer stage. I did leave the mask out in the sun for 4 hours after curing it on both sides with the UV lamp. I now think that the "cracking" noise was due to the amount of resin that dripped down onto the piece of glass as it was cured. Some of that resin did stick to the glass, but was easily peeled off later.
