The European Union provides facilitation to SME’s in different ways. In this workshop two important programs are invited, to tell more about how they can help SME’s in the fashion. This video focus on the second part:

-Intellectual Property (IP) in the fashion industry and the IP helpdesk for European SME
Are you aware of the importance of IP to your business? Have you protected your IP? Do you know that you can use your IP rights to prevent others from stealing your ideas? The fashion industry is a fast moving industry with frequent changes and considerable opportunities for IP theft. During the workshop we will talk about the role of Intellectual Property in the fashion industry and we will explore key aspects of IP protection for European companies in the Latin American and Indian markets.
The International IP SME Helpdesk supports European Union (EU) small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) to both protect and enforce their Intellectual Property (IP) rights in or relating to China, Latin America, Southeast Asia through the provision of free information and services.
This workshop took place during EU Fashion Match Amsterdam 10.0, an international virtual fashion matchmaking on January 25 and 26, 2021.
