Amazing printer. The Qidi X-Max is a great, solid, well-built printer. We have also left positive reviews for the X-Plus and the X-Pro along with additional photos.The printers work very well and print various carbon fiber filaments well.
The X-Max is virtually identical to the X-Plus except larger.
The size of the objects can be much larger.You may have noticed in international news thatva father and son have used a QIDI printer to build a full size Lamborghini Aventador replica.This is a wonderful brand with excellent, very helpful staff that goes above and beyond to provide support even for simple questions.
They strive diligently to ensure your experience will be excellent.I love QIDI products and very highly recommend them.This printer comes with a hardened steel hot end and nozzle.
The slicing software is very simple to use and works with all QIDI printers (you simply switch the printer in the settings as needed) which is very useful for us because we may print an object on one printer on one occasion and then on another printer on another occasion.We primarily print with carbon fiber composites and tpu.
We also print with pla and dissolvable filament on some items.I cannot complain about any aspect of our experience with the QIDI X-Max nor any of our other QIDI printers.Highly recommended A+++++ and Thumbs up.
Feel confident that if you are considering the acquisition of a 3D printer that you will have the full support of the QIDI support staff to assist you.
They will even test print an item for you to determine the perfect settings if you are using a new material.
Then they will send you thorough instructions including screen shots, photos, and even videos to help ensure you are able to perfectly copy their perfect settings determined by very experienced staff.Sorry for rambling...
I could go on and on about how impressed I am with QIDI printers and their support staff. I hope this doesnt sound like a shill review, but I feel like it does.
We have no business relationship with QIDI and have not been asked to write this review and have not been compensated to so so. I just feel compelled to sing praises about QIDI and their staff and products.
You cant go wrong by choosing to acquire a QIDI printer.
This is my first 3d printer and so far I love it! This printer does come with the high temp filament head. The photos are my 10th print which I really pushed this printer to its limits using a midlevel resolution (much longer if I did high).
This 3d printer is very flexible and forgiving if you make mistakes. It comes with simple instructions and videos on how to use it. If your file cannot read for longer prints you can redownload and continue.
It will also bypass illegal build coding.The downsizes to this printer is it is very heavy and the plexiglass door wont stay mounted. Eventually ill glue it in place.
This is my first 3D printer like most I did my homework, I chose this make and model based on reviews, video reviews, Ive learned how to 3D print on this X MAX with very few problems.The things I like:1.
The whole package.2. Leveling is easy and quick.3. The print bed is great now that I understand how to use them( I ruined my first 2 with too close of a nozzle setting)I bought 2 new ones the trick is to scrub it with dish soap real good.
And the more use it gets the better the parts will remove.Tech support is very good Linda was always in touch with me regarding any concerns I might have.Things I dont like:1.
Filament scraps fall all around inside, no. big deal I just vacuum them out.2. The filament holder works well, I used 1 inch PVC to modify it, works much.
