Where do I start. I have never used a 3D Printer till this one but I watched 100 hours of YouTube and read many articles. QIDI videos are not at common as I had hoped but not an issue.
They supply videos on the thumb drive. This was a good fit because I am more likely to print practical prints and needed a printer that could do the tough materials.
It has been really easy to use. Instructions were pretty good. They use English on everything that I really needed. Some of the folders were Chinese but easy to figure...

It’s not to loud but I wouldn’t want to sit in the same room for hours. I’m sure this is not that bad when it comes to noise but it is my first one and hard to compare.
I did have two small issues. 1) the clear part of the door fell out only being held on by thin tape and one of the build plates has a small bend on the edge.
I emailed them and had a reply in 3 hrs. The door could be easily reattached so they offed to pay for the dbl. sided tape so I bought 3m tape really good stuff $20 bucks and had a refund the next day.
The door is now rock solid (is that a bad reference, lol) Then they sent me 2 new build plates and 2 new nozzles for my trouble. Probably the best customer support I have seen.
In 4 days I had the new plates and nozzles. Amazing coming from China. I even asked for a new xmax plugin for Cura and they sent me a file the next day.
It was for a little older version so I asked for one to work on this version 4.6.1. Current as of 5/14/2020 Sent today so waiting to see if they will update it.
All in all prints great looks great and easy to use from a noob standpoint. I will buy another one of their printers sometime. I uploaded a few photos..
I will warn you the piggy bank don’t have a “plug” in their few supplied files but you can go to thingiverse and get it from the creator, it comes with a plug there.

I LOVE this printer! This is my second QIDI printer and I can assure you that you will not be disappointed. This printer has continuously proved itself in quality, reliability, and ease of use.
I use the X-Max with both Simply 3D and the Included QIDI slicer. I use PLA most of the time because I have gotten very good at designing and printing with it, however, I am excited to try out the advanced filament capabilities.
I am a mechanical engineering student and my university has several statysys printers that cost $50,000 apiece. Trust me, Id prefer this printer over those.
Its reliable, yet flexible enough that I can use whatever slicer I want with it and modify settings. In addition, the customer service is better than anything Ive experienced in the USA.
