On this episode of Crazy Will Tech Show, I show you how to make your own 3d printed models using Tinkercad. So, you probably have this new shiny 3-D printer and your wondering to yourself how can I make my own models or 3-D prints. Well I wondered the same thing and I did my research. I wanted something simple but accurate. I know I could use Blender or some other 3-D free software. But, if you want accurately measured things you need to use a CAD software. They can be very complicated and have a long learning curve. That's where this free software called Tinkercad comes into play. It's a web-based software by Autodesk, yes the company that makes card software and what I'm most familiar with Maya. It is web-based which I think is a good thing, no software to download and you can get your files on any computer or tablet. I've been playing with this for over six months and I've made a ton of things. Everything from a light holder to a garage door pulley. So let me walk you through the basics and get you started making your own 3-D prints with Tinkercad.
