In this video, we'll discover an exciting new open source AMS for Voron and Klipper printers. Brought to you by STLFLIX. Check out their full library at https://jle.vi/stlflix

Even before Bambu Lab came out with their AMS, the 3D printing community has wanted to create an open source multicolor type system for open source 3d printers like Voron and Klipper. Past attempts, such as the ERCF V2 (Enraged Rabbit Carrot Feeder) or Annex Engineering Tradrack have come close, but they've never QUITE been reliable enough to achieve mainstream adoption. Fortunately, this is the beauty of open source, and of the 3D printing community! Folks are always working to improve on the work of others.

So in this video, we're going to look into the Box Turtle Open Source AMS by Armored Turtle... an open source multicolor system for Voron and Klipper printers. I'll be building and testing this kit by LDO motors, to see if it lives up to the promise of being easier to use, easier to build, and more reliable than past systems.

Along the way, I'll help you understand if this is something YOU should take on for YOUR 3D printer... or if it's not quite there yet.

Let's get after it!
