Tired of the notepads you’ve been hoarding since eternity? You collect and collect but nothing seems to scratch that itch for something... motorized? Then you’re definitely checking out the correct DIY project right now!

In today’s simple DIY project, we’ll be making our own mechanized notepad. So stay tuned.

As always, we will require some specialized equipment to carve out many of our mechanized notebook parts. If you have them ready at hand, how merry; if you don’t, you can always buy, rent, or borrow any of the necessary equipment. You will require a lathe to work the cylinders, a bench drill for the many holes you will make, a table saw and a scroll saw to shape your creation, and a 3D printer.

So much work and so many tools for a mere mechanized notepad? Well, you asked for it.
