Design / Slice / Print The Full 3D Printing Process, All in 30 minutes

In this video I take a simple small plastic part that has broken on a bar stool and show you how to turn this into a 3D model in Fusion 360 which is a free 3D modeling CAD software. From there I show you how to use the basic features of PRUSA Slicer to generate a GCode in order to then transfer that GCode to my PRUSA i3 MK3S 3D printer and create a replacement part.

This entire process takes 30 minutes plus the printing time of 11 minutes for this simple part. So in theory you can easily go from a wobbly stool to one that is fixed in under 45 minutes.

This is the real benefit to 3D printing. The ability to quickly repair and replace plastic parts around your house that otherwise you wouldn't be able to do.

Please comment bellow on what parts you have created using your 3D printer around your house.
