This prop was made for my nephew who had been obsessing over Troll Hunters for a while and wanted an Amulet of Daylight so bad that he had made his own out of carboard.
I found a seller on Cults3d who was selling a fairly good 3D model of the amulet (link below), I then printed it and painted it as best I could and I dare say that I am very satisfied with the result!
I used glow-in-the-dark paint for the runes and night-sky background.
The video is a cross-dissolve between 3 pictures taken at various light levels and exposure to show the effect.
