Implant analogs are used by dental lab technicians to understand the position of the dental implant in the patient's mouth. Once the implant is placed in the patient, the dental lab needs to design, manufacture and fit the final crown or bridge on top of the implant.

In this video, we showcase the fitting of an implant analog by 3d printing the model using the intra-oral 3d scan data of a patient. Once the model is printed, we fit the implant analog on the model. Finally, a temporary crown is 3d printed and fit on top of the implant analog.

This is one of the most critical application in digital dentistry where the 3d printed model requires very high precision. As you can see from the video, DentaFab 3d printers and resins are perfectly suitable for model prints with implant analogs.
