I recently got into chess because of, indeed you guessed it, the queens gambit, if you haven’t seen it yet I really recommend it! I’ve been playing quite a lot and trying to improve, my goal is to be able to play chess blindfolded, so if you don’t want to miss the video about that in the future make sure to subscribe. For my new passion I looked for ways to make my own set. After some research I found a beautiful looking set online which you can 3D print. I printed 32 pieces in black and white. Afterwards I looked online for coating options and decided to go with xtc-3d. I show how I applied xtc-3d to my printed chess pieces. In the next step I made the pieces magnetic with a magnetic self-adhesive sheet. Finally I show which chess board I'm going to use and how I'm going to make it magnetic. All in all it turned out to be a unique chess set with a very cool spiral design.
