Today i would like to discuss ways to make a practical print even more practical. when 3d printing a model orientation always plays a large part, so thinking of your overhangs, and support requirements to can lead to some simple design changes which save time money and plastic. always take an extra minute to ask , does this need an overhang? can i reduce it enough to eliminate support? what if i turn the model itself! or make a simple change that will make it support free?
